Transfer Info Sessions and Workshops

We offer info sessions and workshops to prepare​​ you for transfer and assist you during the application process. 

What are information sessions?

At an information session, University Transfer Center Staff and Counselors will explain more about the application process and how to prepare as you begin your application. This is a 1 hour session and students must join the Zoom session on time in order to receive credit. Registration link is available in the corresponding table below. 

​​What are application support sessions?

This is an open session in which University Transfer Center Staff and Counselors help you review your application or parts of it prior to you submitting your final application. They will review sections of your application to avoid common mistakes, confirming your chosen major and Santa Ana College degree (s) you will be earning. To register for application support sessions call the Transfer Center at 714-564-6165.

UC ​TAG Ses​​​sions

​​TAG Information Sessions (Virtual):  Six participating UC campuses offer the Transfer Admission Guarantee program, which allows eligible qualifying students from all California Community Colleges a guarantee admissions.  This one-hour session will cover more about what TAG is, who qualifies, eligibility and deadlines to meet for TAG.  Sessions are open to all UC interested transfer students, particularly those applying for Fall 2025 admissions.  Registration is required for zoom link notification. 
 
TAG App Support Sessions (In-Person):  These sessions are to support eligible transfer students with TAG application process for Fall 2026 admissions. Staff and Counselors will be accessible for any questions and concerns. Students are welcome to bring their laptops and strongly encouraged to bring a printed copy of all unofficial transcripts to successfully complete the application. No registration required for this session. Check-in at the Career Center, L-222.

California State University ​​​​(CSU) Sessions

Virtual CSU Application Support Workshop (Zoom):

Review your California State University (CSU) Application prior to submitting it. Our staff and counselors will review parts of your application to help you avoid common mistakes. LIMITED SPACE, Register Now! All workshops will be held virtually on Zoom.​

In-Person CSU Application Support Sessions (In-Person): 

Staff and Counselors will be accessible for any questions and concerns. Students are welcome to bring their laptops and it is required to bring a printed copy of all unofficial transcripts to successfully complete the application. No registration required for this session. .
