Northern Trip
What is the Northern Trip?
Twice a year, Santa Ana College hosts a Northern Trip for students to visit four UC campuses: Berkeley, Davis, Santa Cruz, and Santa Barbara. During this trip, students also receive individualized academic advising, transferable units (Counseling 110), and an opportunity to visit San Francisco. Hotel, transportation, and breakfasts are provided.
When does it occur?
The 4-day program occurs twice per year during intersession and summer semesters. Dates vary.
What are the benefits?

What are the requirements?

Be a currently enrolled Santa Ana College student.

Must be 18 years of age to apply

Priority will be given to SAC students who:

Have at least a 2.75 transferable GPA
-
Have not previously participated in the Northern Trip

Are following the UC general education plan (IGETC)

Selected participants must attend a mandatory orientation.
How do I apply?

Applications are released by the University Transfer Center.

Copies of unofficial transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
