Do You Need to File a Graduation Petition?

***ALL transcripts and AP scores must be on file before submitting a graduation petition.***

Please contact counseling for assistance with submitting petitions.

Degree requirements: Students must complete at least 60 degree units with a minimum 2.0 grade point average.

Residency requirements: A minimum of 12 units must be earned at Santa Ana College, Santiago Canyon College, or a combination of both.

Major requirements: Each degree and certificate program specifies courses required for the major. Courses for the major must be completed with a C or better.

Commencement

The commencement ceremony is held once a year at the end of the spring semester. Please refer to the commencement page for information regarding the ceremony.

Duplicate Diploma or Certificate

If you need a duplicate diploma or certificate, please fill out the duplicate request form and submit payment to the Cashier's office. duplicate diploma-certificate.pdf
