Veterans Education Benefits - Forms
Enroll through Veterans Affairs Works and submit a Certification Request Form every term. You can also submit as Guest Students and make changes on your courses AFTER submitting them.
Priority registration is available for active members of the Armed Forces of the United States or former members who have been discharged within the last 15 years of the day before classes begin, and veterans who will be using their education benefits.

This zero-interest loan is intended to help eligible students obtain needed books for certified courses due to the payment gap of education benefits from the VA. The student must have a COE or proof of current benefits & Veteran Upward Bound application
Transferability of Education Benefits
Apply for TEB on this link. For specific questions on your eligibility for TEB, please
call your Service career counselor or personnel center.
The VA does not determine eligibility for TEB. The DOD does.
This is for those who plan on Transferring their Post 9/11 benefits over to their dependents. Please check eligibility before proceeding.
This is done before you apply for Form 22-1990e.
Obtain and submit your CalVet Award Letters at the local County Veterans Offices.

Once the letter of approval is obtained by the student, submit the letter to the Financial Aid Office at SAC for processing.

Requests for copies of student eligibility documentation, i.e. Certificates of Eligibility, Award Letters, etc. must be made in writing by using the "Submit A Question" feature on the VA website, through postal mail, or facsimile. The VA regional office fax number is (918) 781-7863. No verbal requests for documentation can be accepted for security reasons.
VR&E Approvals through the Chapter 31 program are obtained through your VR&E Counselor. Please contact your assigned VR&E Counselor and ensure that they send the approvals to the Santa Ana College Vendor Code: 95269679901
