Padres ​​​​Promotores

Our team of SAC student workers is committed to reaching out to families with the goal of empowering, engaging, and making higher education a reality for their children. We provide skills, knowledge, and resources to inspire, transform, and empower families to achieve higher education.

Servic​​es Pro​​​vided

  • Facilitate presentations to K-12 Schools which consists of multiple sessions

  • Participate in community and school events such as College & Resources Fairs

  • Facilitate presentations and parent orientations

  • Campus tours of Santa Ana College and extension campuses

  • Staff Higher Education Centers, Santa Ana Public Library and Mexican Consulate

  • Provide assistance and referrals to current students seeking resources

Objecti​ve​s:

  • Inspire, transform, and empower families to achieve Higher Education

  • Promote higher education alternatives and resources within families and K-12 students

  • Promote Santa Ana College and resources such as adult classes, credit classes and high school programs​

  • Inform parents on California K-12 educational system and Higher Education options (A-G, GPA, Financial Aid, Universities and Community Colleges)

  • Encourage parents to participate in their children's education​
