How to Apply for Financial Aid
Here's how to Apply
Step 1: File FAFSA or Dream ACT by March 2
Complete the FAFSA at or Dream Act application starting October 1. For priority consideration, apply by March 2*.
Organize your and your parents' income information which you will need to complete the FAFSA accurately. You will need income records such as W2-forms, Federal Income 1040 Tax returns if available and records of untaxed income received during the last two year, including income earned but paid in cash.
Federal School Code: 001284
Step 2: Apply to SAC
Submit your application for Santa Ana College
Step 3: Check your Status
Once the FAFSA has been processed by the processing center (usually within four to six weeks after submitting the FAFSA), a Student Aid Report (SAR) will be sent to the student and all colleges listed on the FAFSA will receive the student's record. As SAC receives processed FAFSA records, a packet of supplemental forms will be sent to students beginning in June.
