Canvas

In a traditional school, you have classrooms. When you go to your classroom, your teacher, class materials and fellow students are all there. Canvas is like your traditional school, but online. When you login to Canvas, you can access your online classes.

You can login to Canvas using your school email address and password. 

The first time you register for a class, a student email address is automatically created for you. Your student email is made up of your initials, 5 numbers + @student.sac.edu. For example:​

ch37797@student.sac.edu

If this is your first time taking classes with Santa Ana College, your password is your birthday. For example, if your birthday is April 6, 1990, your password will be: Apr061990​

Retrieve your email address or reset your password

When you login, you will see the courses you are taking. Your teacher will talk with you about how Canvas will be used in their class.

Important Notes:

* Most courses will not be visible in Canvas until the start date of class.
* It can take up to 24 hours after registration for a class to be visible in your canvas account.

Login and Password Support

Microsoft 365

As a student at Santa Ana College School of Continuing Education, you get free access to Microsoft 365. Microsoft 365 allows you to use and download popular applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint​.

Step 1: Go to office.com​​
Step 2: Click the "Sign In" button and then select "Work or School Account"
Step 3: Log in with your SAC email address and password


Once logged in, you will see your Microsoft 365 dashboard.

Self-Service Support

Self-Service is a student information system that is used at Santa Ana College.  All Santa Ana College students can use this system to do the following:​

  • ​Register for classes
  • Drop classes
  • Access your course transcripts
  • and more! ​​​​

When you use Self-Service to register for a class, your application is processed immediately. There is no wait time. Also, you can search for a class by the instructor's name. 

You can access self service at the following link: sac.edu/selfservice​
Username: Your school email address (sj33445@student.sac​.edu)​
Password: If this is your first time logging in to Self-Service, your password is your birthday. 
 
For example, if your birthday is April 6, 1990, your password will be: Apr061990​​
*Once you login, you will be prompted to change your password.
