This training program prepares students to transition to Santa Ana College's Digital
Media Program or start an entry-level job in the digital media field. Students will
learn industry-standard software like Adobe Creative Cloud. They will also learn foundational
skills designed for graphic designers, artists, photographers, web designers, programmers,
and animation artists working in the digital realm.
Students also learn soft skills needed to work in any digital media environment. After
finishing this certificate, students are encouraged to continue their training at
Santa Ana College’s Digital Media Program to obtain a more advanced certificate and/or
degree.
Be at least 18 years old on the first day of class.
This certificate prepares students for the Santa Ana College Fashion Design and Merchandising program. Get ready for an entry-level position in the fashion industry. Students can choose sewing physical clothing or designing them digitally. For digital design, learn software like Adobe Illustrator. Gain soft skills needed to work in fashion and merchandising.

These courses prepare you to transition to Santa Ana College's Theatre Arts Program. You will learn theatrical stylings, acting techniques, and technical skills that support and enhance performances. You will be equipped with the abilities and techniques necessary to enter or upgrade within the technical and performance arenas of the entertainment industry.
Take VFPA 150A Rehearsal and Performance in Production and VFPA 152 Tour Ensemble. You will learn vocal techniques and dynamic presentation methods for live stage performance.
All four courses below are required to earn a certificate.

Students must also pass ONE of the following courses:
VBUS 400 - Employability Skills (VBUS400)
ESL 520 - ESL: English for Work 2
If you pass VFPA 150A, 150B, 152, and 255 with a grade of B or higher, you can earn credit for THEA 150 A, 150B, 152, and 255 through the credit-by-exam process. Credits from VFPA 150A, 150B, 152, and 255 can count towards a theatre certificate or degree at Santa Ana College. There is no tuition cost for VFPA 150A, 150B, 152, and 255.
Students must meet with theater arts faculty to audition for courses listed.
