Science Learning Center's Goals

  • To support students as they develop proficiency in their science skills.

  • To assist students as they develop accuracy in their pre-existing science skills.

  • To support students in their progress & success in science.

  • To encourage students as they excel through their academic endeavors and beyond.

Requirements:  

  • Must be an active Santa Ana College student.

  • Must have a Santa Ana Student ID to checkout items (get a free ID Card at the Student Business Office in JSC-202) 

  • Enroll into the free Science Learning Center supervised tutoring session on your first visit.

  • Must be enrolled in a current SAC science course (astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth science, geology, physics)

  • Log-in & Log-out of the Science Learning Center.

Available Services for ​Student Use:

  • ​Walk-in learning support (no appointment necessary).

  • Study tables & study room.

  • Whiteboards & dry erase markers.

  • PC's with science software and internet.

  • Textbooks, models, slides & microscopes.​
