Diesel-Electric Transportation Technology Department at SAC

The Diesel-Electric Transportation Technology (DETT) Program is geared to prepare students with the knowledge skills applicable to service diesel-electric medium and heavy duty vehicles. Places of employment for graduating students include distributors and dealers that sell diesel engines, construction equipment and trucks. Others are bus lines, construction firms, government agencies, independent repair ships, fleet companies and specialized facilities.
