A.A. Political Science for Transfer (AA-T)

The Online Degree Pathway Program at Santa Ana College is an accelerated course program that offers students the ability to graduate in two years. The Associate in Arts in Political Science for Transfer (AA-T) is being offered by Santa Ana College in an online format. Students in the Online Degree Pathway complete a fixed sequence of courses in a cohort grouping. By completing a semester’s worth of classes broken down into 8-weeks, students are able to achieve their degree in a shorter time frame.

The following sequence allows students to meet all course requirements for the Political Science AA-T. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT's) are designed for students ​planning to transfer to a CSU campus.  In addition many Independent California Colleges and Univers​ities now honor ADT's and provide admission guarantees similar to those provided by CSU campuses.

Upon completion of the AA-T in Political Science students will have an understanding of both the breadth and depth of the political science discipline. This knowledge will be grounded in the comprehension of political science principles, concepts, ideas, theories, research, and terminology. Students will also have the capacity to write and think in a critical and analytical way about issues pertaining to politics, government, and society.
