What is High School/ ROP/ Noncredit Articulation?
High School/ROP/Noncredit to College Credit Articulation provides students the opportunity to earn college credit for a high school, ROP, or noncredit class they completed—provided there is an active articulation agreement for the year the course was taken, and the student meets the eligibility requirements.
Current requirements to petition for articulated credit:
- Students must earn a grade of “B” or better in their articulated course (for one or both semesters, depending on the length of the signed agreement for the articulated course).
- Students must be enrolled in a college credit course at the time they submit their petition and remain enrolled in a college credit course after census date.
Benefits of Articulation Credit:
-
Earn a college certificate and/or degree in less time
-
Eliminate duplication of coursework between high school and college
-
Save money - no need to spend money for courses already taken
-
Explore career fields before enrolling in college
