WHO ARE WE?
The Umoja/Ujima (U2) Scholars Program is designed to provide essential educational resources and services to foster personal, professional and academic success of our Black/African American, and Black/African Diasporic student population enrolled at Santa Ana College. We accomplish this through workshops/events, academic counseling, priority registration, financial assistance, and more. Participants of the program will have access to a team of Santa Ana College educators and community leaders, who assist students towards achieving their goals. The Umoja/Ujima Scholars Program is open to all students.

Personal & professional workshops & seminars

Field trips to CSU's, UC's, private schools, and HBCU's

Cultural events & activities pertinent to the Black experience

Mentorship

Priority registration

Financial assistance (book vouchers, scholarships, etc.)

Access to the U2 Scholars - Village Space (VL-108)
Additionally, members of the program will have access to a team of SAC educators and community leaders, who assist students towards obtaining their goals.
