Student Support Services Program (SSSP)
The Student Support Services Program (SSSP) is a federally funded TRIO program that provides personalized support to help students stay in college, graduate, and transfer to a four-year university. Serving 175 Santa Ana College students each year, the goal of SSSP is to increase retention, graduation, and transfer rates while supporting students in successfully navigating higher education.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the SSSP program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in 12 units (exceptions may be granted with approval from the Program Director).
- Have an educational goal to transfer to a four-year university or earn an associate degree.
- Meet federal low-income guidelines.
- Be a first-generation college student (neither parent has earned a bachelor’s degree).
- Demonstrate a need for academic support.

Support in various subjects to help strengthen academic skills.
Step-by-step guidance throughout the transfer process.
Help with applications for financial aid and scholarships.
Short-term laptop loans for students who need reliable technology.
Topics include time management, financial literacy, career readiness, and more.
Opportunities to participate in university campus visits, cultural events, and enrichment activities that support academic and personal growth.
