EOPS Requirements and Services
To qualify for EOPS, students must meet all of the following criteria:

California resident or student who meets Dream Act/AB 540 criteria (as determined by Admissions)

Plan to be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 units at time of entry to the program, unless a waiver is granted (e.g. for student with a verified disability or other “special circumstance”)

Must qualify for California College Promise Grant (CCPG – A or B) or CCPG – C with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of 0 determined by the FAFSA

Must have less than 48 units of college-level work completed at all colleges or universities attended (some exceptions may apply)
In addition, students must meet one of the following criteria:

Did not graduate from high school or earn a General Education Diploma (GED)

Graduated from high school with a grade point average below 2.50
-
Have parent(s) who are non-native English speakers

First-generation college student
-
Current or former foster youth
-
Be educationally disadvantaged as defined by EOPS state regulations, or
-
Meet one of the alternative educational criteria identified by EOPS
