Our career education classes are noncredit, meaning they're tuition-free and focused on getting you job-ready, fast. We're part of Santa Ana College School of Continuing Education. (Santa Ana College also offers credit career and technical education programs.)

The SAC SCE Career Education Department is committed to developing students to be today's and tomorrow's workforce leaders by honoring and strengthening the knowledge and skills they already possess, while they concurrently learn new ones, so they can succeed in their careers and in life.
Everyone! Whether you're starting your first job, changing careers, or leveling up at work, we have certificates for all backgrounds and experience levels.
You have options depending on your goals.
- Entry-level job training: Get the skills employers want for fields like healthcare, business, and technology
- Career advancement: Earn certificates in Digital Literacy, Customer Service, and more to stand out at work
- Personal Development: Take classes in areas you want to learn more about. Maybe you always wanted to learn Adobe Photoshop. We can help.
Dive deeper
We make learning easy with hands-on skills training. Depending on the program, you can take classes in-person or online. Whatever works for your schedule.
Many certificates can be completed in as little as four months.
Ready to keep going? Your noncredit certificate can help you transition into Santa Ana College's credit programs through articulation agreements.
NONCREDIT:
- Free, no tuition
- Open enrollment, no prerequisites
- Faster programs (many finish in 4 months)

CREDIT:
- Enrollment fees apply
- Earn college units toward degrees
- Traditional semester schedule (16 weeks)
- May require placement tests/prerequisites
- Letter grades (A-F)
Transition to Credit: Your noncredit certificate can give you a head start. Through articulation agreements, courses you complete with us may count toward credit certificates or degrees at Santa Ana College. You'll have the skills AND the units.
Dual Enrollment: You can take both noncredit and credit classes at the same time. Build job skills with us while earning your degree at SAC.
