The Associate in Science in Film, Television and Electronic Media for Transfer (A.S.-T
in Film, Television and Electronic Media) is designed to prepare students for transfer
into the CSU system to complete a baccalaureate degree in Film, Television and Electronic
Media, as well as to prepare them for work in those industries. Please consult a counselor
regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution. Completion of
the Associate in Science in Film, Television and Electronic Media for Transfer also
provides guaranteed admission to the CSU system, although not to a particular campus
or major. Upon completion of the A.S.-T in Film, Television and Electronic Media,
students will have an understanding of the various aspects associated with the production
and post production of films, television and electronic media. Students will also
possess the knowledge and technical skills required for academic and professional
success in related areas.
