Earn an Associate Degree in Chemistry
The associate degree curriculum in chemistry provides basic courses for a wide variety
of occupations or prepares the student to enter a curriculum in a four-year institution
leading to a baccalaureate degree. The major fields of chemistry are inorganic and
organic chemistry, biochemistry, and chemical engineering. These fields provide career
opportunities in industry, research, and teaching, and also entry into graduate or
professional programs such as medicine, pharmacy and other related health fields.
