Why should I be interested in geology and earth science?

Well, the simple fact that we are inhabitants of the Earth should be enough of a reason, but, for those that need more convincing, EVERYTHING in the world around us depends on the environment of the Earth in some way. We are living in a time when the Earth is facing many challenges. Earth scientists and geoscientists recognize these challenges and will play a vital role in working towards sustainable solutions. ​​
