The Fashion Design & Merchandising Department at Santa Ana College offers a comprehensive, career-focused education that bridges creativity and industry.
Students gain hands-on experience in design, product development, and fashion business, using industry tools like CLO3D. Our Fashion Merchandising degree also provides a clear transfer pathway to universities such as Cal State Long Beach and Cal Poly Pomona for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Apparel Production Development and Technical Design
This vocational program provides the technical skills and product background necessary to work under the direction of a designer in technical apparel jobs such as pattern making, grading, and sketching in ready-to-wear or theater costumes.
